Fees vary depending on the service provided and the session length. We offer a complimentary 10 minute phone consultation to help determine if we’re the right fit for you. Session costs are based on the type and duration of the service, and we can provide specific pricing information based on your coverage when you contact us.
Most of our clients use their benefits to cover some or all of their session fees.

Sensible Psych Meds works with most commercial insurance companies as an out-of-network provider.
We do not accept Medicare or Medicaid at this time.

Out-of-Network (OON) coverage means your insurance may cover services provided by a clinician who isn't part of your insurance company's network. To find out if you have OON coverage, check your insurance policy or contact your insurance provider. They can confirm if OON services are covered and explain any reimbursement rates or requirements.

Using an Out-of-Network provider allows you to choose a therapist who is the best fit for your specific needs, rather than limiting your options to those within your insurance network. This gives you and your therapist the freedom to decide on the number of sessions, the length of treatment, and the types of therapeutic approaches you want to explore—without insurance companies setting the terms.
Additionally, it enhances your privacy, allowing you to decide whether your mental health treatment is included in your insurance health records.
-
When you choose an Out-of-Network provider, we’ll provide you with a superbill (an itemized receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Most clients who use OON coverage are reimbursed for 70-80% of their session costs. Our administrative team is here to guide you through the process, so you can focus on your therapy rather than the paperwork.
Here are some important questions to ask your insurance company when considering an Out-of-Network provider:
Do I have Out-of-Network benefits for mental health care? If so, what are they and how much is my reimbursement rate?
What is my deductible, and have I met it yet?
Does my coverage include remote/online therapy with Out-of-Network providers? If so, is there an expiration date for that coverage?
